About e-NAM

Introduction: e-NAM is an all-India electronic trading portal launched in 2016.

Nodal Implementing Agency: Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC).

Methodology: It connects existing agricultural mandis across the country through a digital network.

Main Objective: To ensure transparency in agricultural trade while realizing the vision of "One Nation, One Market."

Information Dissemination: As of December 2025, the application provides free price information for 247 notified commodities.

Benefits to Farmers: Through e-NAM, farmers can sell their produce online, giving them access to a wider buyer base and competitive prices.

Transparency: The system ensures transparent auctions and quality-based pricing, eliminating dependence on middlemen.

Payment Process: Upon completion of the trade, the sale proceeds are transferred electronically directly into the farmers' registered bank accounts.

Integration: The Electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipt (e-NWR) system has been integrated with e-NAM.
